I have to keep telling the Cook off about waving to Defenders when we're in her unmentionable totally reliable old Camry or the new D4. "They'll just think you're a loony" I say and get a swift clip for daring to say such a thing. [bigsmile1]

Got an out the window wave from an old gent with long white hair and beard driving a series 2 or 2A In Richmond this afternoon. Maybe the original owner :-)
I met another Defender owner from Lilyfield today. His Daughter is Lucy's new best mate at school.
He could be popping up here soon. This could be a bit weird.
It's not common to get waves from other Land Rovers, but yesterday I got waves from a convoy of 3 x new looking Range Rovers! Just Nth of Tulla Airport.

Of course they all had LR branding plastered all over them and were towing those LR 'Terrapods' (I assume from a day at the GP)... The drivers probably all had Defenders in the garage at home. It was nice nonetheless.
Waved as I passed a Crome Yellow 90 yesterday afternoon at about 1440 on the West Link at Rozelle Bay, just before going under Victoria Rd. Lot's of Checker plate. Didn't see any hail damage.[bigwhistle]
Nor so much a wave but I just sighted (07:30 hrs) a low-loader with two short wheelbase Series 1's passing through North Richmond toward Windsor/Sydney. They looked in 'original' condition - pretty rough but both had cabs. Could have been 80"'s
Prominent wave from a white 110 on the hill from Landsborough to Maleny this morning, returned.
Got a wave from a nice black 110 Puma heading west through Richmond in the pouring rain on Sunday :-)
