    Hi Travelrover,

We have a place in Mount Wilson that we spend time at as much as we can. So we drive the Bells Line frequently. I've become familiar with the local Defenders along the road: those at Hillbilly Cider, Bilpin Burgers, the restaurant at Bilpin village and a Military with the trailer that I often see at Kurrajong Heights or North Richmond. I wave as we pass by.

The Defender to which I referred was the latest incarnation of our marque spotted as we were going to Bunnings at Lithgow. I confess I was in deep conversation with my partner discussing the shopping list when it came the other way.

I'll keep an eye out for you too!

    I'm a wihte 110 with AULRO plates.

    Hi One_iota

There are a couple around Kurrajong village and Bowen mountain and a few in north Richmond, a perentie in Freemans Reach at least three 110/130’s in Glossodia two 90’s in Richmond and we have three (2 110’s and a 90) in east Kurrajong. So plenty to wave to most days.. and of course being a major east west rout across the mountains there are plenty passing through..

We always wave Where's the Defender wave gone?
    Cheers

    The wave

I’ve come to notice the wave decreasing... cockies in defenders( local)tend to have to receive a fair few waves before they sus it out and work out you’re local.... 2 door roc’s and modded classics wave as do many d1’s and d2’s..... however as defenders have suddenly become a “ fad” the waves decrease.... I figure those drivers will become either fanatics And waving fools or flog of there penis extensions And prices will return to a more realistic value ..... my main wave issue is catching my self starting to do the waving fool thing in a barina or a bmw

Not quite a wave, I was parked at the servo this morning in the 130 after filling the diesel pod to take out to the farm. A lady in a blue Hilux next to me went to leave then came back and told me she just wanted to let me know that I had made her day for her, she said that it was so rarely that you see a "proper" land rover and that her dad worked at the land rover factory for 30 years.

Apparently so. I heard sometime ago that there are more series/defenders/perenties per head in the Hawkesbury than anywhere else in NSW according to the RMS.

Three waves yesterday but only one today!

Yep, you'll have to watch it, that could be embarrassing.
