Thread: Where's the Defender wave gone?

Got a double wave today. Sad thing was the two waves came from the front of a tow truck at Everton Hills, with a red 110 on the back. Best of luck guys hope it is nothing too diabolical! Bet the tow driver had a chuckle..

By the way, if your on the forum i liked your bonnet with the grills! Where/how did you get that done?

I chucked a wave out the window for a bloke in a light silver 110 going up Port Stephens Cutting near Ogunbil NSW.
I had just done a loop from Tamworth via Kootingal, Limbri, Weabonga Ogunbil, and Dungowan.
Good to see others on the road.

I had owned my 'new' 2012 Puma for all of 5km last Thursday and was driving it away from previous owner in Brisbane. Stopped at an intersection when another Puma went past, the guy made the effort to lean forward and give a big wave, I was suitable impressed.
Having just 'upgraded' (??) from a series 1 disco I was pretty pleased to get a wave so quick - thanks to the dark coloured Puma driver!!

That would have been coon on his way to my place, the car spat a welsh plug that he had poorly fitted 2 days earlier, all fixed now

Damn! I missed a wave today!

All week I drive my work wagon and I often see defenders and 110s, but as soon as the weekend comes and I jump in my truck, they all go and hide!

I missed my wave today because I was concentrating too much on driving the Perentie haha.

On a side note Hank did make a friend in the parking lot, not a landy but can still appreciate...

Got a wave from a black defender on St Georges Tce this evening.

Returning to Sydney from Cox's River on Sunday morning and saw no less than 6 Defenders!

Didn't get a wave from all of them but those I did were splendidly enthusiastic.

3 Puma 110s
1 County in brown with a white roof...well it was white once I assume.
1 130 (can't remember if it was a Puma or older)

Genuinely makes me beam from ear to ear when I get a wave back.
