Thread: Double Cab Conversion

Hi all
Did my conversion two weeks ago, if anybody is interested find attached also the bulkhead measurements.

I used 50x50mm square tube for the top part where the cab would bolt on, and normal 1.5mm aluminium sheeting as per above measurements, this was all attached to the body with rivets using 25x25 angle aluminium.

Took me and my help about 10 hours.

Found a company in South Africa that makes Fibre glass roofs.

Then a lot of nuts and bolts

Still waiting on the proper tailgate. used the original door sliced it just underneath the window.

Now to do the rubberising.
