    EKA codes My2011 Defender 110

Just would like to know from anyone in this country who has a new Puma Defender if they have a EKA code. I dont. I did ask my car dealership for it but was told that there is none for Aust, defenders. So how do I go if my pip land rover remote key dies, how do i over ride the immobilizer and get going again. also do I need to enter a code into the radio when i reconnect the car battery.

I was told the same thing by my LR Dealer for my 2010 Defender, had no problem retreving it with my Faultmate though.......

    EKA code

My my2010 Puma certainly has EKA code.

When I asked George at Trivett Parramatta for the code he said the did not have them anymore but next time I was in I asked Peter and he straight away printed out a page and gave it to me.

So I suggest you try again !

Do a search. I have previously posted on this, as I got mine from Barbagallo in Perth.

    If its any assistance

As per the title - and you may have seen from a previous post where I had some difficulty getting a mates 'Fender started and actually resorted to using the EKA option.....

If you have a diagnostic tool to extract you code - or have your 4 number EKA code you have to.....

    1. Insert key into drivers door and turn to lock position
    2. Wait 5 seconds
    3. Turn the key to unlock position the amount of times indicated by the 1st digit of the code (e.g. - 6 times for a 6)
    4. Carry on as above for the next 3 digits of the code
    5. Then turn key to unlock position

If the EKA is entered correctly, your alarm LED will stop flashing and the engine will start.

If you make an error while entering the code - open and close the drivers door and start the sequence from the beginning.

If you make a hash of it 3 times - you'll have to wait a minimum of 10 minutes before attempting the sequence again.

    Cheers

Or call LRA Customer Service, who, I believe, will send it to your dealer.
