not bad, and definitley an inprovement. Yes it is the easy way out, but id love to see somene do longer doors. Its not just the leg room that kills you, the width is also a bugger to a point where the window down and arm out is 90% of driving, unfortunately this rolls your shoulder forward and no good for it.

It isn't exactly clear - but they seem to have kept the roof the original length - ie, perhaps they have done away with or reduced the overhang front & back - but I cannot understand how a 75mm extension could be achieved by doing this

    any ideas ?

are you just going by the pic? to me it seems as there is a extension in the roof, between the incline from front and th rear radius that ends the roof....it has to be longer

Definetly, i have always wanted to take a defender, add a few inch to the doors, even a dual cab with rear doors the same lenth as the front, and also cut the roof/firewall etc down the middle and add about 4in in width to the body, that would make a huge difference to the arm room, it would be a huge job to do but i always find my self wanting that little bit more width in the cab.
