There is a warning device that is an after market add on that clicks, to me it sounds a lot better than those piezoelectric thingies.
Hmm, can't find it yet, but I did spot this.
Indicator Sounder with Delay.
It has a timer so it comes on after 15 flashes, -- same piezo device though.

SupporterI like the idea of the delay. That might be the way to go. So most of the time, it wouldn't activate.
I notice there are a few like the one in your link. This is probably the same one without the cable ties etc.
