Does anyone know what the offset on the new black saw-tooth wheels are? They seem to sit further out on the limited edition models from last year than what they do do on the '12 model Defenders with them fitted.
Thanks

Where do you measure the offset from?,I just did mine and they are 95mm from the back of the hub to the outer front edge.I also got a quote of $375 each from a dealer. Pat
Measure from the centre of the wheel, where it would meet the hub.
Despite the rims being measured in inches, off set is measured in MM.
+ is towards the centre of the vehicle.
- Is towards the outside of the vehicle.
Defender alloys (16 x 7) are a +30.
Thanks guys. I don't really need to know the exact offset in mm, I just wanted to know if they sit further out than the standard boosts. I swear they did on the limited edition.

They are the same as standard and mine don't have any sizes on them that I could see. Pat
I think not....
Don't know about SII, RR or Disco 1's...but Defenders rim off sets are to "+" or more rim to the centre of the vehicle.
No Doubt about it.
Pat,
I measured my SVX rims, they are about 75mm from the hub to outside lip of the rim and about 140mm to the inside lip.
This make total width 215mm or 8 1/2 inches, despite the rims only being 7 inches. The additional width is due to rim width being measured from inside the rim where the tyre bead sits.
It appears that your X-Tech rims do have more rim to "-" or to the outside.
