    Fitting a Defender windscreen.

I have a new windscreen and new rubber to fit to my project 130. A mate of mine is going to give me a hand. He's fitted a lot of windscreens but not a Defender one, and apparently it's different from everything else he's seen. Has anyone fitted one? Any tips to make it easy?

Did not do my own but watched the windscreen guy do it in about 10 seconds flat.

You use the old system of putting thin rope inside rubber them put the glass in. As you pull the rope out, slowly, the rubber falls back against the glass locking it in the seal.

I have also seen this done on old Nissans with flat screens.

I have heard of using cord or rope before but that link is an excellent tutorial.
