Have you tried all the speeds. There are resistors in the main fan unit that regulate the speeds, I had one of these fail before an it only knocked out the slow speed.
Today the fender's aircon fan decided not to work - nothing, nada, zilch....
No worries me thinks - whip off the fuse box cover (getting real good at this) and check related fuses, all ok. Replace anyway, still no go.
Take the actual switch out the aircon unit but don't know what the heck is going on there - too many wires..... wiggle them around and all seem to seat properly.
According to my users manual there are only 2 fuses, a 20 and 30A. True, but what about the relay, or relays?? Where do I find them?????
I've checked under the bonnet, in the battery compartment, but no go.
Car is a '99 fender TD5 - so any help as to where I can start to fix this?? Fan was still running yesterday....
I've tried a search and got the wiring diagram, but that still does not tell me where the actual relays are....
