Been looking through threads and trying to figure some bits out.

On my 110 HCPU I will most likely run Maxxix Bighorn 265 75 R16's as the vehicle will be more of a tourer, easy size to get and I want to keep a spare on the bonnet.

With suspension I would be happy if it was an inch higher and have been looking at all these bits more for ruggeredness than lifting (excuse the caps as off my ebay watch list ):

- heavy duty SHOCK TURRET RETAINING RINGS (figured have to be a bit more rugged)
- LAND ROVER DEFENDER STANDARD SPRING TURRET SET ( this one has me intrigued as beefier piece of kit "Tubular front shock turrets are stronger and less liable to rusting than the original and they also show off your shocks! Available in standard height". I was figuring on just going standard height.
- Dislocation cones, are they a good piece of mind item as had springs pop out on other coiled cars or only required if really pushing it to the limit? I don't mind fitting a set if improves the ruggerdness of the vehicle
- Springs, given all of this will be coming on a pallet from the UK any suggestions on spring type?
- Shock absorbers. It is being fitted with new shocks. I can't recall the spec as are ex NOS army spares, I think Monroe Wylie, but I need to take a photo next trip up (for 50 bucks a corner I said do it as I can always bin them later)
