Hi Lift mounting for a 130?

    Hey 130 dudes/dudettes,

where are you mounting your hi lift jacks? I just got mine back after a couple of years so thinking about mounting it on the 130. Roof racks seem like a good option but what other options are there?

    Cheers,

    Adam

Behind the rear seats...sorry no pictures.

Just drill a hole into either of the support bars behind the rear seats and use a bolt and wing nut to hold the jack horizontally in place.

    Cheers

I quick search of google images and there is a way of mounting the hi lift to the rear of the chasis under the tub.
Looks like a good spot to me!

I decided to mount inside for day-to-day work. I got a rhino rack bracket to put it up there when I'm doing trips as I have a box that fits on the back floor that wouldn't fit with the jack there.

    Thanks everyone!

    Adam,

I've got a rear cross member mount and I've got a proper Hi Lift neoprene "sock" with a zip to cover the mechanicals for protection from dust. Out the way and easy to reach, even with a packed vehicle.

I kind of like the rear xmember mounting idea - I may give that a go too and see what works for me.

Dolium product, stocked by Opposite Lock (and other reputable dealers!)
