    Dow you mean easy or quick?

    Quick - no

    Easy - yes, but you do need to dismantle the dash to get to it.

    a grinder with a cut off wheel?

    depends on which AC you have.

    if you have the under dash unit remove the under dash ducting, dissasemble the dash on the LHS.

    Sounds like you have been there and done that!! Yes it is under dash, can you confirm that the pop riverts will have to be drilled out to allow just the ducting to come out with out having to remove fan etc;

    its been a very long time since Ive had to do one with the AC under it but that sounds about right.

    I'd be replacing the rivets with speed nuts or nutserts.
