    Puma 90 Measurements

    I would appreciate a members with a Puma 90 helping with the measurement from the centre of the axle to ground.
    I'm designing a trailer with all new independent suspension for my camper to be towed by my new 90 when it arrives.

    David,

    All Defenders on alloys will have the exact same measurement in the centre of the axle and under the diff. The size of the tyres is the only thing that can influence the measurement. If you plan to run standard tyres I will be more than happy to measure it this evening.

    The official line from Land Rover is 250mm under the differential, but I assume you want the underside of the axle?

    Incidently, the 90 somehow has 9mm extra under body clearance compared to 110 and 130. (323mm vs 314mm)

    Hi Loubrey,

    Thanks for the help.
    At the moment i want all the tyres to match whether i go larger or stay factory.
    I really need the measurement from centre of axle to to the ground.

    Your looking at 390mm with an unloaded 90 with Std Goodyear MTR tires.

    Agree and confirm Ben's measurement of 390mm.

    Proof that 265/75/16 still has the same diameter as the "standard" 235/85/16!
