Brake Warning Light
Gday. My brake warning light is on pretty much all the time. I have checked brake fluid and that is always OK. What else apart from low brake fluid can cause the light to come on?
I am wondering if the sensor itself is crook. Where is the sensor and how is it wired up? There is a light purple wire with baynet clip simply hanging loose in that general area near the master cylinder but I cant see any attachment points.

Are you talking about the handbrake light? I know as it also functions as a warning light that the ABS fuse has been removed (!), so it may be an ABS error (if you have ABS).
Also the handbrake switch - I snapped mine off on the weekend putting the transmission tunnel back on, which will cause the light to remain on.
