Replacement door cards ? (preferably metal)

I seem to have more than my fair share of troubles with locks and such.

I don’t like the standard door cards – stupid christmas tree clips that often break when removing the door card.

Is anyone aware of any replacement door cards – preferably metal ones – for a Defender?

Of course, if they weren’t poisonously expensive that would also help.
Perhaps someone has had some custom ones made up?
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I had to cut some rust out of the rear tail gate and in my quest for a cheap fix i stumbled on chequer plate internal door card and tail gate internal door card on Ebay UK. About GBP44 for a tail gate cut to shape. Need to factor in postage.

As for my door card, i'm down to 1 functioning plug, 1 dodgy plug and a lot of skilaflex to hold it all together.

If you go custom, consider a larger arm rest by the window.

The self-tappers are winning the fight on my door cards....

The problem with the side doors is the specific profile of the door card: how do you get that bent in alloy without a press and a jig or mould of some type?

I also would love a set of alloy door cards.

I'd just like to thank you all for calling them door cards. I was at a meeting the other night and mentioned door cards and was told they are called trim. I have always called them cards.

Try Exmor Trim in the UK, have not looked myself, but they have everything else.

Might be a bit like poison though.

Trim would be the leather or vinyl or velour that covers the door cards.....

That is because you are not using the right tool to take them off and you are just ripping them off. You need the tool. Super cheap do them for about $2.99 and believe me makes the job a lot easier and then you don't keep breaking the clips.
