    Another rattle identified

I have had this tinny rattle for a couple of weeks, and today finally located it. Where the front propshaft enters the transfer case there is a thin cover plate, this is loose. I am assuming this plate keeps water/dust out???? Can this be tightened up somehow? Or is it indicating something more serious?

Provided the yoke does not move around too much, there are no problems. The mudshield is just a press fit on the yoke - using a big set of multi grips, squeeze the neck of the mudshield a little and then you can use a screwdriver to maneuver it back to it's proper position. ( Like getting the lid off a paint can - but in reverse)

Thanks Langy, no problems with the yoke so I will try getting it back in position.
