Seems my reply from last night has gone AWOL
Not totally sure where the conversion was done - but I believe here - will try to find out

Is that what it is, but replacement to reduce the amount of plastics apparently.

I think the grill is a custom jobbie to yes, reduce plastics, and to limit stick and branch entry into the radiators, god I wish my 130 puma single cab had that conversion, as a heavy duty work ute, it leaves the 79 series cruiser for dead, but any more than about 4 hrs driving it and it takes you about half an hour to unfold yourself from the cramped driving position.I know for a fact that land rover have lost a lot of sales of these utes because some guys cannot physically fit into them. Hope they take it as an option as they have in the past.

Conversion is apparently Land Rover Aus, done by Mills-Tui in Qld.

A member of LROCS reckons three of these cabs were built, and one is listed as a part or an option by LRA. Enquire and you may be able to buy one for yourself!
