Obviously did not help that the bottom frame of your window was 1.7m from the ground. Then again with your portals you better get used to standing on a milk crate to access your gear through the gullwings ... :wasntme:

I used the spacers from the inside to hold the window out whilst I cut the sikaflex. I started at the corners and moved my way across and up at the same time (so 4 directions at once). Basically once I could move a spacer I would move it and then go to another point while that point had time to stretch a bit.
Now the ideal tool for the job would be one of those razor blade tools you used to take ergo stickers off with but I didn't have one of them so I used a stanley knife blade (in my fingers not a knife) and two flat head screw drivers.
The passengers side took me about 2.5 - 3 hours to get out today and its not a pretty sight once its out but it will get covered with the gull wing door......
I also found that if you have a milford cargo barrier and want to fit the gull wing boxes you have to modify the box and the interior trim in order to move the box far enough back to be able to get the barrier back in place.
Good luck, I have a bit of a ways to go but I would say with the boxes allow a weekend to do a Puma if you haven't done it before.
A kitchen knife isn't as silly as it might sound. I used one of those utility knives that you can snap off the sections of blade when it gets a bit blunt because you can extend the blade out a fair bit and it's quite flexible.
A cheap steak knife with a thin blade would probably work well, but you deffinately need flex, so a rigid knife wont be that useful.

After I battled with the first window by using craft knives etc etc, I sharpened the leading edge of a putty spatular, and tapped that in with a hammer then all the way around the window. (if that makes sense)
The 2nd window took me under 10 minutes to do and not one scratch.
A large box just arrived today!!!
Thanks Daniel! :arms:
Thanks very much for the prompt reply Daniel!!! Your level of customer service is 2nd to none.
Just to make things clear - Daniel/Mulgo is in no way at fault here. The manufacturers and shippers have created a few minor problems, which hopefully will be sorted soon...
Bugger being on long service and travelling from Townsville back home to Tassie!!!
Missed a bloody good deal!
