Rear lift up windows for Defender wagon?

    Hi all,

After our last camping trip, I came to the conclusion that life would be so much easier if I could access the rear cargo area of the Fender through the side windows. So, just wondering if there's a company making a kit to replace the sliding rear windows with lift up windows, similar to what you'd see on a ute canopy? Anyone know if such a product exists?

    Cheers
    Sean

I fitted the Dolium ones available through Opposite Lock. Definitely the best accessory I have fitted giving good access especially when you fit a fridge on a slide. The only dust proof 'door' or opening on the Defender...... Wish I had known about the half glass ones though - just sometimes you wish you could grab a look over your shoulder out that side.

I'm getting the glass versions fitted each side tomorrow. I looked at the Doolium ones from OL previously and didn't like the fact it would make it so dark inside. (Just my preference).

I will post up some pics on the week-end when I get a chance.

Dfendr - when I looked at your avatar, it appears you have a nice pair fitted already.

Hi Daniel. Any chance of a special / AULRO / Group buy price? I would like 2 - sounds like a few others would like one or two as well.

EDIT - your website needs some glitches fixed. If I put in my home postcode I get a shipping price for 2 windows of: $15,053.95 Now that is expensive shipping... For that price I would expect it to be hand deliverd on gilt pillows by scantily clad wenches who then fit said items, then give the landrover a wash and wax.

(if I put in my work postcode I get:
Sorry, an error occured while trying to calculate shipping costs:
    (Invalid delivery postcode.) )
