If I do stick the marine carpet down, can I use normal trim spray adhesive if it goes straight onto those butimen sound deadning sheets?

That was 2 years ago, and I now have no intention of gluing it. I have slid large hand heavy items in the back (compressors, gearboxes, boxes full of books etc) and nothing has made the carpet move at all. That said, I did screw it down at the rear door under the metal lip.

Being able to remove it if required is too much of a bonus to loose.. when I have found the carpet not to move at all without glue anyway.
Hey Flagg (and all others who have done it!),

Can you put up some photo's of your finished (or in progress) interior job(s)?

I am considering gutting all the old perished brown crap out of "The Count" and going all mid-grey (on floor) and charcoal/black (on roof) marine carpet all through the interior. Don't want to pay $'s to recover seats so might just get some sympathetic covers all round too.

Having pic's really helps to work out what is a good combination for us who haven't "been there done that" yet!

I know pic's can be a pain to load sometimes. Really appreciate your help and time.

    Dave.

I have the same as Flagg

    Autex Torando marine carpet

I used to work for Autex.
But you can get it off the shelf from BCF

Mine is in the grey/ charcoal

But at the moment I have just put mine in the back as I have two young kids and wanted to leave the front so I can hose it out which I do end up doing a bit. Lot easier way to get sand and kids vomit out of the car
