    Defender radius arms

    hi all anyone had any problems with radias arm nuts loosening seems mine want to loosen a bit every 1000ks or so.
    allso can i nick em up without having to jack up the vehicle cheers from cairns.
    98 110 300tdi full maxi drive conversion upgraded cvs
    2inch lift 9000 warn ome susp
    wrangler muddies
    bigger intercooler
    heapsa steel protection

    try a bit of semi permanant lock thread type stuff on em, am pretty sure you need to have the weight of them when doin em up

    It might also be worth using new nyloc nuts as well as the loctite.

    Don't use loctite, you'll regret it later.

    New nylons are all you should need.

    Do you mean the M20's on the chassis end or the M16's on the axle end?

    I have seen a few M20 studs drilled and pinned in my time - to stop them working their way off, but I've never had the need.

    Yeah big time, I've just put new bolts & nuts on near side cause I was getting a bad click on articulation from them.

    hi jon yea seems to be the chassis ones will replace em all wont use the loctite unless absolutley needed thanks for the help

    If you use genuine rubber bushes (both ends of radius arms) and new lock nuts you should never have a problem.

    You only get movement and thereafter loose nuts when you have movement due I badly fitting or goosed bushes.
