    110 2nd row seat upgrade

    Hi everyone,

I have an 02 Defender and until recently the two rear lap/sash belts were enough. As of January next year a third will be required for a small army I seem to be breeding. I have seen that a retro fitting of the 07 onward seats is possible, but I'm not sure where to get a set from. The guy from RuggedGuide.com, who did the upgrade, got his seats from someone who removed theirs to fit out their Defender with touring storage. Has anyone built a tourer and are looking to sell their seats from an 07 onward or does anyone know where I can get my hands on the seats, brackets and anchors?

Any help is very much appreciated.

    Cool When you get there?

    Hi,

I might be interested in your current seats when you get your upgrade ones. Need something to get my county set up. If you are interested to on sell them, please let me know your expected price (by PM) and perhaps include a photo too.

    Thanks, Dave

    Hi DT-P38,
Sorry bout the delay I will be interested in passing the original seats on, I hope you're not in a rush though coz I can't seem to find any in the Newcastle/Sydney area online. School hols are coming up and that will give me the opportunity to do some calling around weekdays. I'll keep you posted.

Bought some 2nd row seats from Triumph Rover Spares in SA They cost me $800 including freight and every almost everything I needed. It took me only a couple of hours to fit, but, I will have to have two slots put into the wheel boxes because the incline is much steeper in the old models . The only extra things i had to buy was a couple of longer bolts and some 25mm ply (ply was a stop gap measure until i can get to a body shop)
I am Xtreme ly happy with the seats. They are comfy, 3 lap-sash belts and are easy to use (fold and unfold). Well worth it

Wow I read your post and called TRS - they quoted $2,200 for the 2nd row seats without freight.
