    Air cylinder placement

    Hello,

    Can anyone give me some direction regarding where under my 110 Puma I might be able to fit a reasonably sized compressed air cylinder?

    Every void I've found seems too small, and I'm not prepared to buy anything yet until I know it will work.

    How big is the cylinder you want?

    I'm looking at getting one off a truck as they seem compact and light. Havin said that, it may be that they won't hold much pressure, but I'm not sure. I've yet to find a wreckers here in Melb that I can check them out at, but hope to do that soon.

    I've got a 110 C/C, so mine will probably go in the ute section, but if it's small enough, underneath somewhere.

    I work in the pneumatics industry and if we need a reservoir/receiver/tank we either buy & resell a truck air brake tank or pass on the details to our customer.
    I can't remember the price but they are not that expensive new.

    The other option is to go to the local Tip Shop and pick up a small DIY compressor that's been chucked out and score the tank (this may be a bit bigger than you need)

    Chops - the tip shop in Hallam usually has a few broken compressors.

    Get an exbox from mulgo and then put the compressor/cylinder in the space where your electrics where.

    Passenger side rear quarter panel, unless you are going to put a water tank there.

    A 22L tank from those cheapy direct drive compressors can fit under the drivers seat box with a bash plate and still be above chassis level on "pre - humped defenders"

    With a 90/150psi air switch and belt driven compressor you end up with a pretty solid air setup
