Snatch points
Iv got hook up points on my bull bar is it safe to snatch off these points or are they only for winching. i don't want to be one of those idiots that rip the bull bar off.

Generally not, unless it is specifically designed for the load (beefy steel), i'd play it safe and get soe chassis points, specifically for snatching, unlees you want to beef up the bullbar, which would be equally as good.

It is the factory one so it is quiet beefy and has 4 bolts holding each side. Two in the side and two in the top.

Well a snatch recovery point is made out of 12mm+ steel plate if that gives you an idea of the froces involved. Personally i wouldn't snatch off one of them, but i only ever snatch off towbars anyway, if it's a front recovery it's winched. And i've never needed recovering, only helped others.
Cheers

ADIT: And when i say towbars, i don't mean on the ball, the strap is in the reciever with the pin through the loop
