Thread: Could be a dumb question

Could be a dumb question but why did they change the air filter position on the 300 TDI when it was in such a good position on the 200 TDI and has anyone ever mounted the air filter housing on the guard. I am thinking about putting a snorkel on my 300 but it scares me a little because of the amount of joints between the snorkel and the turbo

So when you went flying through water it could still get air from in the guard, ask me how i know... my elbow had come off the guard haha, also to get cleaner air
