    Body Protector Moulding Strips

We have just bought a new 2.2 Puma 110 Station Wagon, not our first I might add. Within days the drivers side door started to make those wobble board sounds. In some respects, to be expected with that large flat area but I still don't like it. We are wondering if anybody out there has ever put rubber Body Protector Moulding Strips along the side of their Defenders. Though I was brought up on a farm in the UK and have driven Series and Defenders most of my life and have never seen Strips on them, we are tempted to try it. Any comments from you L/R owners out there?

Might be an idea to put sound proof insulation on the inside of the doors to stop the vibration. I got some from my mate that works for WURTH and they are a self adhesive strip approx 8 inches wide x 24 inches long with a silver backing. it would certainly be better than looking at strips on the outside.
