Well the motor is now out thanks to some good advice and I hope to put it back as one unit of motor + GB +TC thanks to Muzza99
Dissmantling was made easy with the help of Defender Workshop manual that I have on CD but it does not appear to have instructions for the GB anyone got an idea where I can find workshop manual details for the standard Defender 130 Gearbox. Peter
