    Puma CDL

    Gday people's,
Have done a search, but not having any luck finding a thread about a fix for a "self moving" for want of a better term, CDL lever.
It keeps self centering as soon as you engage either way. ULR seem to think its ok, and is the same as other vehicles they have there.
I remember seeing a thread here that said a guy in Melbourne had a fix for this. Can someone direct me to the thread please. I can't use the search function on my iphone for some reason.
    Cheers Chops

Chops can't help with finding the thread. However my CDL lever moves around a bit but believe this is normal too. I have adjusted my driving style to slowly releasing the clutch and holding the CDL lever while everything engages. Otherwise it can jump out of position and make a hell of a thud, scaring the crap out of me and leaving no drive at all. It seems once its in it doesnt come out again but the stick does move sideways still.

    Hey Chops,

Do you have a problem or do you just not like it.

Mine, also move a bit towards the centre, but does not slip out of hi/low range.

Just drove 750k's with CDL locked (front prop removed) no issues.

    Cheers

G'day guys, it hasn't been an issue as yet, but on disconnecting one time, I barely touched the lever and it just fell out of gear making a loud bang. My theory is, if the lever was knocked whilst I'm climbing a tricky track or something, I could end up coming to grief.
I want it fixed so it feels like its a posative and "locked in" connection so to speak.

Give the lever a good shove into diff lock, it's not a H pattern it's suppose to go straight across regardless of high or low range...if it keeps jumping out of diff lock it's more than likely a linkage adjustment,my puma needed adjustment at about 50k, been good ever since..
