Thread: Am I experiencing Turbo Lag

Faulty MAF sensor can casue bad lower rev lag. Try unplugging it and see if it improves atall.

Thanks for that I have tried it and there is no discernible difference with the MAF connected or disconnected.

I would not have thought that a remap would make the lag worse unless of course it is a lousy map.

There may not be anything wrong at all but the MAF is a good place to start.
If it runs better with the Maf disconnected it is either faulty or just needs a clean.

There is quite a bit on here about wastegate adjustment and reducing turbo lag especially in conjunction with a remap.
have a search and a read up.
It made a huge difference to mine (before I went VNT).

I have not, but the MAF suggestion didnt work for me so I am going to start looking at the wastegate.
