Pass me the Bucket when your done!!! I think im going to chuck as well
A couple of years back, my BIL rings me to let me know he's picked up a '97 130, very low km's for about 5 grand.
Love/hate relationship. Loves it when it's running, hates it with a passion when there's a (usually minor) problem.
I've been green with envy ever since.
Today he rings me to tell me he's just bought another one.
2002 td5 110, again low km's. Had a slight altercation with a dirt embankment and bent the steering rod and blew a tyre. Very tidy inside, good straight body with a couple of minor dings. Started first turn and purrs like a kitten
Picked this one up for 2 grand.
Makes me SICK.![]()

Could it be that he is actually bending the truth a litte.....
Nope.
A few years ago he bought a Suzuki Sierra.
Talked the guy down from 5 grand to 1.
Fella said he needs to talk it over with the missus, and to come back the next day.
Next day he goes back, and is told that 1k will do.
He replies that he had some bills to pay, and only has $800 left.
"Ok, just take it anyway."
I could tell these all night.
Doesn't matter what he does, he ALWAYS lands on his feet.
I am depressed.![]()
He's obviously a real silver tongue; maybe that's his talent in life. And yeah, I'm also sick. Maybe he could start up a business negotiating for forum members
The term 'Tin arse' comes to mind. I've got a mate the same, always falls on his feet.
