Clutch master or slave cylinder?
If so, you will be able to drive it a short distance if you start it in first (or a long way if you're a bit of a gun at the non-synco change)...
It a phone call from the wife on her way to work at O dark thirty this morning. The Puma was dead.
Well not dead, engine ruins but gear change suddenly became very difficult and then impossible. With engine off gear change seems to happen, but when running it will not engage, just the horrible grinding sounds as you attempt to it it into gear.
Yay. Out of warranty too.
Any ideas ?

Probably clutch hydraulics. You have a good chance of a temporary fix by topping up the clutch reservoir and bleeding, or even just pumping the pedal vigorously, but you need to find where the fluid went and replace the part, probably either master or slave cylinder.
