Either behind the fuse box or the dash binnacle.. pretty sure its behind the fuse box.
G'day All,
I have a problem with my 110, the blinkers stopped working only way home from nite shift this morning, I need to know where the flasher can is????, is it behind the instrument cluster??.
I'm a little hard of hearing so I will get the good wife to listen for any clicking sounds, but I know they are not working because I stopped and got out n checked, anyway if someone can tell me within the next hourit would be much appreciated, it is now 0809hrs, cheers Dennis

I found this on the RHS behind the inst/cluster

The shiny box on RHS has all the markings like a flasher can, I wriggled it and the blinkers started to work with ignition OFF, I have never noticed this before, and while I was playing around I tried the hazard switch and all it did was make a sound which to me (deaf) appeared to becoming from the direction of the fuse box, I wil get the wife to double check the location of the sound, anyway is that the flasher can a square type!!! CHeers Dennis
PS. I found the flasher can, or rather the good wife did, it's behind the fuse box, I might have to get a circuit diagram for the 110 Isuzu and see If I can work out what if anything is wrong, cheers Dennis
I found what caused the problem, the hazard light switch has succumbed to the Isuzu vibration and the switch material was either brittle ( 110 is almost 29 yo)
So I suppose something's have to give out periodically, I have bought one from RoverLord in ? Victoria anyway thanks Flagg, cheers Dennis
Dinty, I have had the same problem a couple of times now. the hazard switches I have bought as replacements are crap and don't last. I have bridged the wires i need for the blinkers to work and ****ed the hazard switch off completely.
I'm still working on a substitute for it. i let you know if I work something out, don't hold your breath though, it's been like that for a good 2 years.

ah yes, been there had the same problem... weird design means every use of the indicator runs through the hazard switch, so she eventually burns out.
At some point I must replace mine with a carling switch or similar and say goodbye to the original switch gear!
shameful cross forum posting: http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php'showtopic=25376
very early on it was up in the binnicle
later on it migrated to the center fuse area.
most indicator problems that are not stalk related and combine with the hazards not working properly turn out to be the hazard switch.
