    county 110 rear propshaft

I just replaced my rear propshaft as had slight vibration and noticed some play in sliding joint - strange thing is the vibration has got worse with the new propshaft.Anyone have any theories as to why?

The obvious reason is that the new shaft is damaged, or possibly assembled with the joints out of phase, but first, I would check tightness (and presence) of all the flange bolts - one missing or loose bolt could cause this. Another possibility is foreign material on the mating surface of the flanges, but still the most likely is the new shaft. John

    propshaft vibration

the prop is brand new hardy spicer so would assume it's balanced properly and flange bolts all tight so I'm perplexed.

What John is saying is that the uni joints at each end need to be aligned - IE the join- sliding joint- might have been seperated by someone and not put back the same way. This would result in a pretty noticeable vibration though.
