Hi all,
Well unfortunately i missed out on the 130 i was after, everything looked like it was ago, but got a call the following day and was told it had sold.
However, another defender 110 has come up... there will always be another..., but it seems to be the goods.
This 110 is a 2006 model with 60,000km in it. Options include the usuals; Long range tank, bullbar, spotties, side steps, winch, snorkel and a roof rack. Everything expected on a tourer.
With the above specifications in mind, what would one pay for such a best, and what would one consider a reasonable price?
Apart from the 130 being longer and having a tray, can anybody give any reasons why one would by a 130 over a 110, or vice versa?
thanks

it may be a small technical issue, but if you want a tourer to carry a family and all the stuff required than a 130 has a GVM to do so. Of course a 110 will do it, but over the scales technically perhaps not.
A 130 tends to ride better than a 110, but has other down falls instead. Like having to reverse park it usually due to its length. Not hard just something a bit different. It also has a BIGGER turn circle than a 110. Again something you learn to live with, but also related to reverse parking.

2010 130 TDCi
Hi all
Ok so I am hoping to go and have a look at this 110 sometime this week. I would greatly appreciate it if anybody would be able to tell me, or link to another thread, about what I should be looking for when making an inspection of a defender of this age, late td5.
Would you also be able to tell me what the 02MY means on the later models defender stands for.
Thanks again
