And in reality 35 spline is not common with Dana 60s and I do not believe ever happened in a Ford 9". It is almost all aftermarket.

Yep my bad on the 24 vs 23 dis.

And I was just using the 35 spline as an example of more splines being stronger, ie its not the number of splines that determines the strength.....not them being stock. I bet though, there would be more 35 spline axles in the USA than aftermarket rover HD in Oz....
