    Drop arm Ball joint:

    Hi all

    Modified my drop arm ball joint, it is now aservice item.

    Tired of rubbers getting dry and tearing and at least youcan fill it to the brim.

    That was clever! Only downside that I can see is a risk of the nipple being pulled off if you're bundu-bashing (which one really shouldn't do - but IS sometimes necessary); a steering guard might cover that risk.

    Did you just drill/tap the standard bottom coveror make up a special one?

    I just use a grease syringe under the rubber cap. Similar result, and the OEM one lasted 220K Km anyway.

    Done the same with the tie rod ends, people have been doing that for a very long time, and I agree, it's a great idea.

    I also did it with the A frame ball joint.
