    Lift pump in Adelaide

Well, it's been a long week to say the least, and to top it all off, my fuel pump **** itself this afternoon, sending diesel out through the side of itself and onto the road.

Does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced lift pump for a 300tdi on a weekend in the Adelaide area??

    super cheap.

    a poziflow electric fuel pump.

get some 1/2 inch fuel hose, unbolt the lines from the pump slide the hose onto fuel lines route to the pozi flow appropriately and then run a wire from the solenoid on the inejctor pump to the posi flow.

get a bout 6 inches of 5/8thish fuel hose and then double it back onto the threads on the lift pump to prevent contamination.

the new ones look like this
the older ones look like this

they last forever, my last one I got for 2 bucks at a market is rusty as hell, has the dodgiest wiring IVe ever seen and it pumps fine,

depends on how you mount them...

if you mount them directly to a panel, no not really

if you mount them to the engine on a resilient mount yes.
