Having done the CSR last year, so long as you have good tyres, a good compressor and the best dampers you can afford you won't need anything else.

Assuming you already have a fridge, twin battery setup and proper GPS.

It's an easy drive, just long.

it is australian based and the ones I have seen don't have any overland (as in international) trips.

oh dear, I don't get into news agencies very much as you can see.
Run by EMG hey, I guess all the stories are now going to be knock offs or cut and paste jobs from there other 4x4action variations like camper trailers, camping leisure and so on.

is EMG the Coles or Woolies of the 4x4 magazine world?

Sorry I've just seen this.. :)

Yup have most of that and are in the process of adding what I don't have.. It's not just the Canning I am doing I'm also planning on taking a detour on the way home via the Gunbarrel Hwy and the Simpson.. so I feel that I should add some accessories to the car to make it easier/safer like bull bar, winch, roof racks, fuel tank etc.. I don't have a proper GPS (unless a Navman counts lol) but do have loads of maps (although no map reading skills at all lol).. but I am following a group for a lot of the way so if I get lost then I am blaming them.. :p
