    Yeah

I spotted that too. I recognised her Xtech from her forum pic. Great letter.

Congratulations to her and hope she enjoys the lights.

That Overlander is not a bad read, certainly best of the 'off road' magazines. They recently did a side by side test of a Puma90 and Tojo
FJ Cruiser. I thought it fair and balanced - something you wouldn't get from one of your run-of-the-mill ' 4WD Lad's mags'. It concluded if you need to go off road get the 90, and if you're a metrosexual urbanista who wants to look 'edgy' enroute to the next latte -go Tojo.

Of course, they didn't write it quite like that....

But that John Cadogan fella is the biz - the thinking man (and woman's) Roothy.

    Cheers

Having met both men I can assure you "Roothy" is also a highly intelligent man.

His persona to suit the demographic of the magazine he is writing for shows a depth of understanding.

Both John & John are great guys...

Thank you! I've yet to see the story in the mag though as my newsagent only has last months mags in stock at the moment (I've been checking daily) but a friend sent me a pic of the story (he is a subscriber so got the mag early)..

I was stoked to win the lights as I am in the process of kitting out my car for a trip to the Canning Stock route next year.. and as we all know it is an expensive business and lights were way down the list of must haves as I couldn't see me affording them before the trip.. I can't wait to get them!

And having met neither - I now stand corrected!

I meant no disrepect to Roothy but simply observe -as you do- that they pitch to different sorts of audiences

    Cheers

I have met Roothy once in public setting, at the Perth 4wd show. Intelligent is right. The Roothy persona is only one facet of John Roth. They say still waters run deep, except Roothy is not very still.
Sue, congratulations. It’s good to see you recognized for all your work and effort. Enjoy the adulation.

So this Overlander magazine you speak of. Is it international travels or just UK based. Perhaps I have answered my question, congratulations Sue.
I did have LR international once but it's very heavy on advertising, is Overlander similar.
