Hi Pod,
The standard tub on a 130 CC is 1700 long plus the bumperetts /handle things on the back.
I would be having a good run with a tape measure to compare with a tub, before you get rid of the box.

Congratulations. I was wondering today whether you'd gone ahead and bought it, after our discussion at BHH.
My ARB locker was blowing air, the price for ARB to do it would have bought a new maintenance free tru trac! I borrowed a diff spreader and removed the rear cover (salisbury), the airline had come off some time ago while in a rut, I reconnected and it got pressure up, so I thought it was working, but that was just the mud that had occluded the line.
I eventually realised it was just an occlusion when I wasn't getting locked drive in a bog hole. I removed the top brass fitting and cleaned it out, which caused the copper air line to fall into the housing. This in turn pumped air out the breather, making me think it was the O rings. When I pulled the cover off, it was just a case of fitting the air line back into the brass fitting and making sure it was all tight.
If you have the earlier steel air line from the ring on the locker, it needs to be threaded into the brass fitting, after some jiggling the steel fatigues and cracks. The new type have a more flexible copper air line and a push on fitting. Well worth the $65 for a new one, than the two hours of frustration trying to thread it straight, and then breaking it, only to have to buy a new one anyway.
Not sure if the 130 PUMA has sals or P38 rear diff, if the latter it will be an easy fix on a bench rather than under the car.
It's the p38 diff, a bit annoying that the 2 diffs are totally different as I was thinking of transferring the ARB to the front and putting an ashcroft locker in the rear. The diff shoudn't be a difficult job, I have a well-equipped workshop for such things, just a bit frustrating to have to do stuff like this straight away. Have fitted an ARB locker before.
Also, I've decided to keep the box, the real issue with the departure angle is the tail-light mounting thing which hangs quite low, the full width of the vehicle. If I re-jig the spare wheel mount, I can relocate the tail-lights onto the box itself and get rid of the bottom panel.
Congrats
