    Check Your Hydraulic Jack!

I never had occassion to use the jack that came with my MY11 PUMA until today - I used it on a job at home - it doesn't hold a load!

Lucky I haven't needed it out bush. Suggest you check yours if you haven't already - hopefully I will get it replaced under warranty.

If it is the same as used to be in RRCs and D1s, the problem is usually that the non return valve is sticking. This valve in the old ones is situated nearthe lifting cylinder on the base .
I found that by replacing the fluid with ATF the valve unstuck itself and mine now works properly again.

    Hi,
I found mine had a slow descent all the time when I used it to remove the tray.
I'm not too worried about it though, it can be worked around.
    cheers

And if you have been doing a bit of beach work, you will probably find it is getting rusty.

A coating of oil and keeping it inside an oily heavy duty plastic bag will fix that.
