    URGENT Q clutch push rod

    Slave is off

But the push rod is still sitting inside the housing.

From memory shouldn't the push rod be sticking out slightly?

Push is just slightly inside, I can wiggle it around fine but how do I line up the new slave

I would figure the fork is fine as the push rod seem to move freely

Sorry Weeds, was on the commute.....

It's been a while since I've had one apart so I can't really remember how far the rod protrudes from the bell housing. The fork and rod do look a long way in though. I seem to remember being able to see the pivot point though, somehow. I guess if you can't determine whether the fork is gone or not, stick the slave back on and bleed the system. See if you can get pedal again.

That's my problem the rod is too far in and I cannot lift and place the slave cylinder on

Yeah - sounds like the fork has failed.
