you could have a break in the loom that leads to all the other door switches.
pull the door switch then earth the wire and the light should come on.
I have a 1987 110 with an electrical gremlin I can't figure out. The only door switch that works for the interior lights is the drivers door. I have check the other switches which seem to be fine. I have swapped them around and the only place they work is the drivers door. Is there some way of disabling the other switches or am I missing something.
Thanks in advance for the help.

I tried grounding the other door switch wires and it did not make the lights come on. Do all the wires come together from the other doors in one particular place?
