Question could head gasket show as blow by? block rebuild?

Hi, thanks Psimpson7 for the speedy reply-only 9 minutes! that has to be a record for getting the info you actually need.

has some blow by so assume the block/ring region is worn or could head issue cause that?

Is it possible to do engine block rebuild as apparently you can't buy oversized pistons. Is that correct?

    Thanks Jo

Question 4 minutes, but not all the answers needed

I think you might need 7 minutes next time , missed this question

    Q) Is it possible that the leaking head gasket can cause blowby, just wondering if any chance the bottom end is still ok

I haven't looked at the link yet but sounds like you can rebore etc i was told that it can't be done.

    Cheers Jo

So are you saying that a 2005 model has the steel dowells and are less prone to shuffling?
