Well this is the way I look at it, the Jeep is that little bit more refined, BUT so is the Triumph and Victory motorcycles, they are more refined cruisers that handle and brake better BUT I still bought the Harley. I see the Land Rover as a classic.

Get the 90 and buy the wife a Beetle

I like the fact everytime I walk out the front door to get into the Deefer I think im going on an African Safari NOT the shopping mall.

Seriously If I HAD to buy another 4X4 (as long as I could keep my Td5 110 Defender) it would be a no brainer, I'd buy the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with CRD & Manual transmission, Factory long travel suspension & F&R Diff locks, full hardtop, a no brainer.

If you wife wants a Jeep talk her into an Unlimited, ON & Offroad the LWB is better than the shorty in both LR & Jeep. If you buy the 90 your wife will forever be on your case about how much you spend on it , Because to get it how YOU want it its going to be a lot of extra $$ and forever tinkering.

Infact now that the CRD is an option l might just talk my wife into swapping her car for one, as she really likes them too, especially the Dozer Unlimiteds !!!

(I might just have to renew my CCJC membership)

Bah ha ha A bit like Land Rovers British - made in India.

Jokes aside I have considered buying one, there only 5K new. No need for it though. But for a Vespa buyer it would be a good option to keeping your manhood. You can only ride a Vespa in Italy and look cool, here you just look fruity

Oh and from memory the RE has a top speed of about 110 klm, sound familiar?

So it's quicker than a Harley

Actually a Harley is like a Rover 3.5

Great at producing Heat and Noise without the byproduct of Power.

    And both leak oil
