I personally have not seen Mulgo bumperettes, but I have bought other items from Mulgo and meet with Daniel. He’s workmanship is top notch and he is very approachable. Drop him an E-mail and ask him about the Bumperettes.
I have since years a Kaymar wheel carrier on my SVX 110. Now thinking of buying Mulgo bumperettes, but wonder how easy they are to install in combo with that wheel carrier. I would prefer on both sides to use only the existing holes in the rear crossmember, so not drill new holes. I know Mulgo website says that their bumperettes are compatible with "most" wheel carriers, but how compatible are they with the Kaymar carrier?
Anybody has this experience?
Then as 2nd question, how good is the quality of these Mulgo bumperettes really? Is the powder coating good quality, or are they prone to flaking and maybe rusting easily?
Tks, Eric
Here is the link to the Mulgo bumperettes in question, (albeit will choose with black checquer plate)

Mine are waiting to be fitted, it goes into body shop on the 3rd to fix the little cnr bungle where the stupid dick head taxi driver drove into it before I can fit them.
Mate I think they are an awesome set of gear, they look well made strong and sturdy and if I only had them on when Mr I can't bloody see and drive taxi hit me then it would have been happy days.
They do look like tuff gear and they will protect your rear cnr when bottoming out on approach and departure angles.
As far as the powder coating, who cares they get scratched underneath a bit of black kill rust solves everything, I doubt they will flake, if they were bad quality like that Daniel Mulgo would not sell them. Anything you buy from Mulgo will be a good decision.
Oh and if they won't fit with your kaymar you could always get a Rijidij rear wheel carrier, I love mine.

Tks replies. Kaymar will stay on, perfect kit. I have been in touch with Daniel by e-mail already, and will take it up with him further after his holidays. I actually was after a clear answer from someone in your area if they had easily fitted these Mulgo bumperettes together with a Kaymar carrier. Tks, Eric
Don't know about mulgo (but his rock sliders are good and the Xbox is ok to)
But paddocks rear wheel carrier IS NOT compatible with their own bumperettes. The bottom hinge protrudes about 10mm lower than the bumperettes step so I had to get it cut n welded to fit
I've got the Kaymar wheel carrier & mulgo bumperettes, no modification is required to fit both together.
Tks all replies, and sounds good to me. Expect to hear more from Daniel soon abt the fitting, etc. Will kepos how it develops.
I ve also got a KayMar wheel hanger and Mulgo's bumperette's. as already stated they fit together perfectly, no mods no extra holes.
Powder coating on the bumperette's is great, they have. Been on for 3years no flaking at all.
I have a Kaymar and was thinking of getting the Mulgo bumperettes, until I went on a forum trip to Wheeny Creek and we went down a large rock step, instead of protecting the back all the Defenders with the bumperettes hit, bending them, while those that didn't cleared the step. This made me put them lower down on the priority list. On a susbequent forum trip to the Watagans I damaged the rear quarter that would have been protected
