The've Gone.
As much as I love Land Rover Defenders, yesterday I traded my 90 TD5. S.W M.B.O. came home from work on a 42 c day looking like thunder. I had already bought a small car to replace my Puma, lots of fun. Yesterday I actually swopped our 2004 Defender for a 2010 hatch. Yes many will say I'm nuts, but they are very unaware of our lifestyle changes over the last few months. I will continue my limited input and great love for Land Rovers and very much value the many friends I have made on this forum. It surely is the best vehicle owner's group on the planet. If somebody buys our TD5 90 please email me, as with my S.V.X, I would appreciate knowledge of its future and I also have the key codes for the 90 and can tell you all the mods that have been done.
All the very best to all,
Allan

Dang that’s a shame. I was a little upset when you let the SVX go, we all watched you go through the ‘growing pains’ of the lift and the vibration problems, the bullbar etc, etc and now this….. Good luck mate and I’m kind of hoping that one day as with all Land Rover tragics you’ll come back to the fold with a series two or three or whatever.
If you see another SVX around the Daniela area on the weekends, it’s me. Stop and say G’day.
Cheers

Thanks for that, it is sincerely appreciated. It's just that a big hand sometimes grabs you from above and turns you in a different direction (no religious pun intended). I will continue to follow A.U.L.R.O's forum as I think, as I have already said, it's the best, and I have made some very good friends here. Yes if I spot your S.V.X, I deffinatly will stop and say G'day. All the best for the New Year to you and yours.

Thanks for that, and a very happy new year, she still looks great and I am very glad such a great vehicle went to somebody who cares enough to look after it. My other beast is at Wangara Jeep covered in amorall to make it look new, Underneath is a very good TD5 that is worth a look.
