Cashed up bogans one would assume... Or the St Georges' tce set...

TimNZ is pretty good at setting up diffs. He may be interested in some beer tokens if you are willing to remove and refit.

The prices quoted so far would allow you to buy all the tools to do the job [even snap-on] and have money to spare.

In Sydney I paid $400 to fit the ATB in the front. Supply of ATB from LRA in Melb + journal bearings was $760 incl postage.

WA is an expensive place to live these days. The greatest crime in the West is $4.80 for a small coffee from Dome. It tastes like drain cleaner with sugar.

I grew up in Perth, and left there some time back, sounds like it has all gone downhill.

The Love of $$ is the root of lots of social and industrial issues.

    Glad I'm over here

Greatest crime I have seen in the West is seeing people charged $1000 to do the wheel bearings on a boat trailer.

However, in defence of the mechanics... I know of one guy who closed down his shop because he was having trouble competing with the mines for decent employees, and the lease on his premises were getting exhorbitant.

He now operates as a one man operation from the shed on his property, takes his kids to school and collects them, and ends up with the same $$$ in his pocket each week.
