- Where do you live?
- New, under warranty or out of warranty?
- Do you want Dealer or specialist repairer?
- What about a mobile Land Rover service?
Have been trying for the last three hrs for someone at Trivetts Parramatta to call back, finally got through, told them the problem, they said get it towed but probably Thursday before they can look at it, no courtesy car.
Just wondering if its going to be the start of a nightmare, just want to find out who is the most recommended LR service dept in Sydney, may as well go to the best first up.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
Parramatta is chockas at the moment so I'd imagine the other dealers are the same.
It sounds like the car is not safe to drive with the oil leak so you may be better off having it towed to your nearest dealer & they'll check it out as soon as they can.

I live 5 minutes from Trivett at Alexandria and ended up using Parramatta for the couple of years it took to get my car sorted under warranty. Can't say my experience with Parramatta was a positive one, just better than Alexandria.
I feel for you if your expectations are that you will be treated as a valued customer in any of these dealerships.

I've found the Trivett Alexandria guys to be bearable, if a little slow at getting back to me even when they've said they will.
At all costs avoid the <dealer name removed> idiots. I ended up having to write a letter to Land Rover Australia and <company name removed> head office about the appalling service I received there.
I'm fairly sure they don't interview their employees prior to hiring them.
This is of course, simply my opinion based on my experience from when my '08 Deefer was still under warranty and required some simple repairs.

You're going to hear good & bad stories about every dealership in Sydney.
If it were me, I'd try the closest dealer first. If they work out OK, then you should be fine. Another 'benefit' is that in case of a major problem, chances are they'll be the closest dealer if it does need a tow.
